COLA Inc. is engaged with the CDC’s Laboratory Outreach Communication System (LOCS) in the Division of Laboratory Systems (DLS) to transmit their public health messages to our laboratories and affiliates. 

On August 5, 2022, CDC issued a laboratory advisory related to infection prevention and control of Monkeypox in healthcare settings. Also, on August 5th, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) declared Monkeypox a public health emergency.
