HHS Declaration of Public Health Emergency for Monkeypox Diagnostics and New FDA Guidance

COLA Inc. is engaged with the CDC’s Laboratory Outreach Communication System (LOCS) in the Division of Laboratory Systems (DLS) to transmit their public health messages to our laboratories and affiliates. 

On September 9, 2022, the CDC alerted laboratories that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has declared that the current circumstances justify the authorization of emergency use of in vitro diagnostics to detect and/or diagnose infection with the Monkeypox virus.
