Tatelbaum started his legal career on active duty in the U.S. Naval Reserve in the Judge Advocate General Corps where he was stationed at the Naval Legal Service Office, Northwest in Bremerton, Washington, and at the headquarters for Navy Medicine in Washington, D.C. He also has worked in the health care practices of two national law firms as well as a boutique firm.
“Everyone at COLA is excited to have Mark join the COLA family,” said Nancy Stratton, Chief Executive Officer of COLA. “Mark’s combination of experience as an in-house counsel, working in a law firm and his government experience offers us multi-faceted legal expertise. Mark is a great addition to the COLA team as we seek to position COLA for future changes.”
“I am enthusiastic to have joined COLA and help it advance its mission of promoting safe and quality laboratory medicine through its accreditation program of clinical laboratories,” Tatelbaum said. “Laboratory medicine has becoming increasingly important in the effective and efficient delivery of health care, and COLA’s impact on safety and quality makes a difference in the lives of patients.”
